I. Staff availability
Jan 9-11 (Mon-Wed): Alma Workshop (Fullerton CA)
Jan 12: travel day
Jan 13: Dolph vacation; rest of team available
Jan 18-19 (Wed-Thu): ExL all-staff meeting – no project call or functional calls
II. Primo status
Primo now available (both classic and new UI) both Production and Sandbox (new login info)
o Next steps: Lynn/Jim in progress with add’l NR changes from CSU Discovery Group
Rules from consortium workbook are in place now
Examples from Discovery Group are being checked & new rules in progress
Resource Type facet, print/e-book split are in progress w/ fix (next renorm)
Publishing job will be run manually (by ExL) 2x/month (current run just completed)
Authentication status
o SAML user login to Primo: ExL confirmed access via CO SAML instance
o Alma user login to Primo: ready

Curious ot know: How many campuses made the mistake that CP-SLO made in not specifically requesting that an "all
CSU search" be implemented in our Primo Config?

I sent a message yestedray to PMs and to Discovery to suggest that this should NOT be an option, and that one of
the essential expectaitons is that we will have discovery for all system colleciton holdings

My reason for asking is that we are planning on-campus communications about the new system and wondering if
there willbe an opportunity for us to advertise the service and give users a look before go-live

my thought as I looked at diversity of tabs/scopes config’d in CSU Primos was that it might be something Discovery
WG could consider recommending a starting config? just a thought
