CALSTATE weekly call

 1.        Alma configuration form status

 a.        Status:

                                        i.             12 campuses finalized

                                      ii.             8 campuses in progress

                                     iii.             2 campuses - still waiting for draft (Channel Islands, Moss Landing)

Action: Audrey will contact Moss Landing (Joan Parker and Katie Lage) directly

 

 b.       Action: Audrey to compile/confirm that configuration is retained at cutover. In general, 99% of configuration will be retained. We just need to confirm that 1% piece.

 

 c.        When you start testing the system, set your users up with internal Alma accounts. You can also toggle your external users to internal users. Once external authentication into Alma is ready, you can start logging in to Alma with your external user credentials.

 

 

 

 2.        Upcoming Test Load milestones:

                      i.             Expecting test loads to be delivered to project team between May 20-25

                    ii.             Project team to check test loads and provide the OK to copy to production - May 25th

                   iii.             Deadline to finalize all configuration forms - May 25th

                  iv.             Project team to start applying configuration to test load environments - target end date: June 3

                    v.             Target delivery of all Alma test loads to all by June 3

                  vi.             Copy of San Marcos and Sacramento - post June 3

 

 

 3.        Primo -

                      i.             Complete Primo initial configuration questionnaire - May 23

Action: Audrey to review responses by May 20th and follow up with campus project managers who have not yet responded

 

 

 

 4.        General topics:

                      i.             Functional calls

 ·          Three questions submitted so far

 ·          Questions should go to Brandon; who will make sure to get it to Audrey/project team

 ·          Action: Brandon will send reminder emails to project manager list to solicit questions

 

                    ii. Alma sandboxes - logins expiring

                                        i.       All sandbox users have been updated to expire 999 days

 

                   iii. June Certification

                                       i.       Action: Audrey to get list of June names by end of week for June registration

                                     ii.       Action: David will send the google docs link to everyone

 

                  iv. Cutover planning -- this will be happening in the next several weeks as we try to finalize the plan for the cutover next year. Stay tuned for more details.

 

                    v. Webex calls for functional calls

                                        i.       Webex test call - noon-1pm Pacific today. Please feel free to join in and test your connectivity. Everyone should have received a webex invite from Brandon

                                      ii.       I will also open the meeting up tomorrow 15 minutes early

 

                  vi. Update on Cal Poly SLO, and San Diego - 360RM early adopters! Audrey will provide updates as we progress. In terms of next steps, we will start up a series of bi-weekly calls between the two campuses, EXL migration team, EXL project team and Chancellor's Office.
