Safari Authentication Update Combined IZ/NZ Searching NZ License Terms Editable Getting Started Doc | Jessica | CO is working with Safari on a potential CSU - wide authentication solution. Disucussions are in the early stages, so campuses should continue working with Safari to set up authentication in the meantime. Jessica will send out an announcement to the TS listserv about IZ/NZ combined searching and how to set it up. I will contact Luiz and offer to do a quick demo at one of the upcoming TS Open Forums if anyone is interested. Jessica is working on a batch process to update NZ license terms (rather than having to do everything manually). This is going to be one of her main projects for the Spring semester. Will share with individual campuses if they're interested. Plan to share our Getting Started document with the rest of the CSU by Jan. 31st! PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AND CONTRIBUTE IF YOU CAN! |
| Deprecated portfolio material types | Christine | The field is still appearing in portfolios, alongside the new Material Type field. Currently unable to assign a new material type in batch to replace the CZ inherited field that's being deprecated. Will follow up with ExLibris to ask if this is possible so that new material types can be assigned before the CZ field is deprecated completely. |
