  • Establish and maintain a list of DAMS functional requirements (backend/frontend) in consultation with key CSU stakeholders.

  • Conduct DAMS platform testing to ensure functional requirements are being met.

  • Assist with data collection and issue-tracking efforts to help inform DAMS design and ongoing development.

  • Collaborate with the Metadata Working Group (MWG) on the DAMS metadata requirements and scheme.

  • Assist with compiling and maintaining DAMS documentation.

  • Promote awareness of the DAMS, articulating and communicating its availability/scope to the broader CSU community.

  • Facilitate system wide communications regarding DAMS news/updates.

Four to six members, selected from across the CSU Libraries by the DRC based on expertise in areas including local digital asset management, digital collection building, special collections, and archives. Members will serve staggered two year terms with the potential for re-appointment.

Meetings and Reporting

Meetings are held virtually on a monthly basis and are open to CSU community stakeholders (Meetings (DAWG)). DAWG reports directly to the DRC and is responsible for submitting regular updates and an annual report to the DRC. DAWG may also be asked to assist with reports, complete special reports, and participate in the annual Digital Repositories Meeting.

Background
