Each campus is responsible for exporting their own data extracts from Millennium/Sierra.  Data extracts are completed in Data Exchange (bibliographic records) and Create Lists (all other record types), and will be performed for each relevant record types for your campus.

Data is migrated from your current ILS to Alma by extracting data in the above file formats and delivering these files to Ex Libris.  During the test phase, Ex Libris will processes this data in combination with your Millennium and Sierra (III) Migration Form and the Field Mapping Form to properly ingest this data into Alma.

Ex Libris provides two guides on extracting records from Millennium/Sierra.

You should plan to read through these documents by March 15th, in preparation for your data extracts that are due on April 15th.  To ensure that you are prepared for you data extracts, create "saved exports" ahead of time for each of the record types you are going to export.

If you are unsure about the steps in the export process, you may check out these videos for additional instruction on exporting records from Millennium/Sierra.
