from yvonne:

When you print a slip, where does the printed slip go?

from Dolph Chaney to Everyone:

A: printers can be associated with the receiving dept

from Csun to Everyone:

Can you receive an item without adding a barcode? For example, we receive issues first and don’t assign a barcode. Later the issues are bound together and then assigned a single barcode for the bound item.

from Csun to Everyone:

thank you

from Janee Mason (HSU) to Everyone:

Can you skip the 'return item' step, if the acquistion department shelves the item?

from Eva Sorrell to Everyone:

If  something didn't have a POL, journal came in as a gift, can you check it in via the receive area or do you need to use the second method you showed?

from Thuy CPP (privately):

Can you create a routing slip at this point?

from SFSU to Everyone:

What about a limited number of issues to be retained?  Like "Latest year only" when the online version is embargoed?

from Dolph Chaney to Everyone:

Hi Eva: the Receiving Workbench doesn't show anything that has no POL.

from Thuy CPP to Everyone:

Can a routing slip be created at this point

from Janee Mason (HSU) to Everyone:

yes, thank you

from yvonne to Everyone:

We have created a new service unit combining circulation and acquisition in alma, so we do not need to circ check it in anymore, correct?

from Sue Caballero to Everyone:

Can the serials staff select the shelving message? Or does circulation staff always have to check-in issues once completed by serials staff.

from Sacramento State to Everyone:

Yes, please

from Mark B. (Los Angeles) to Everyone:

We receive the print journal, and keep issues for only one year. after that, online embargo clears and we can view the online version, remove the print issues from the collection.

from Thuy CPP to Everyone:

Yes, Thank you. Can you demo?

from Csun to Everyone:

For next week, is there any automated way to set up predictive holdings. For example, copy the 891 (?) field from the Marc bib record to the holdings record. Or anything related to best practices for setting up predictive holdings. Thank you.

from Mark B. (Los Angeles) to Everyone:

And alongside "withdrawal", how to 'label' for Primo that 'we keep only one year'?

from Sacramento State to Everyone:

Our "yes" was for discussing Standing Orders next week.

from Thuy CPP to Everyone:

Thank you Dolph & Laurie!

from Csun to Everyone:
