These brief guidelines provide clarification as to what can be edited in OCLC master records by member institutions.
Best practice recommendations
CSU libraries, which are not members of the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC), cannot edit most fields in OCLC PCC-authenticated master records. However, non-PCC libraries can add or edit specific fields as listed in Database Enrichment. For detailed information, see the following OCLC documents:
