While the unmediated nature of Rapido is great for the vast majority of items, there are cases when staff will want to mediate the request. Rapido can set certain items to be stopped for mediation when they meet certain criteria. Mediation rules are how the criteria is set.

To configure mediation rules go to Alma Configuration → Resource Sharing → Rapido Rules → Borrowing Mediation Rules. Once in the Borrowing Mediation Rules List click + Add Rule to add a new rule. The tables below are the recommended rules and their input and output parameters. Feel free to add rules as you see fit to meet your campus’s needs.
