Authority Control Task Force Update

Members have been troubleshooting reports based on the types of headings involved (Names; Name-Title; Subjects; and Genre). They’re using authority control tools (e.g. PTC macro) to resolve problems. Members are drafting recommendations, which will focus on scope of work, recruitment, training, and workflows needed to support authority work for our consortium. Draft Recommendations will be submitted to the Resources Management Functional Committee on April 30, 2020.
