Reactivate Request

Tested reactivating requests that have been rejected by partner, expired from the holdshelf, completed or canceled by staff. When reactivating a request both borrower and lender need to reactivate the request and we should contact the school instead of relying on just the general message. For requests that have been accidentally canceled by staff, the request is reactivated on both ends but will need to be shipped by the lender before the borrower can receive the item. If the item that expired from the holdshelf is in the 'returned item to partner status” and the request is reactivated the item will need to be scanned in by the borrower instead of received; this puts the item back on the holdshelf and the patron will receive a new email notification.

CSU+ for Distance Learners?

There was a suggestion to set up a distance learner library to route DL requests to. Mallory let us know that when there are 2 RS libraries in one institution they need to be set up as separate partners and that we should write up what we would like to happen and submit it to ExLibris to see if they have any options. Natalya & Joe will write up this description to also submit to Alma L.
