Procedures for Model 3 Opt-in e-Resources  Scenario #2: When there is one vendor but there are multiple e-resources included in the subscription.  This scenario would be include "upgrades" to e-collections, such as EBSCO Academic Search Complete or Business Source Complete.  This Scenario uses the same procedures for Model 3 Scenario #1.

A&I/Database-only/zero-portfolio resources

ECC/Opt-in resources that are not full text, such as A&I databases, can be ordered on the brief bib record or Provider-Neutral Record in the NZ by the local library.  The consortial acquisitions for A&I databases will be investigated once all of the database-only records are available in the CZ and are globally updated records (updated by ExL, not library-contributed records).

Libraries that purchased or locally negotiated an ECC or Opt-in Resource

Acquisitions exception: If a library purchases a resource that is normally negotiated by SDLC, the library is able to share the e-collection but the order record will be set up and maintained by the local library.  The library can order from the database brief bib record or Provider-Neutral Record.  The e-collection portfolios will be maintained by the Chancellor’s Office and the order record will be maintained locally in the IZ.
