This document describes the policies for acquisitions of shared e-resources in Alma's Network Zone (NZ). The Model 2: The ECC e-resource acquisitions and management will now be handled by the Chancellor's Office. The Model3: The Opt-in e-resources will be managed by the Chancellor's Office but acquisitions will managed by libraries in the Institution Zone (IZ). The shared acquisitions document will adapt the policies set by Acquisitions Task Force and apply best practices for the shared e-resources. These procedures will be similar to the acquisitions for the individual libraries but will adapt specific procedures needed for the Chancellor's Office for the ECC and Opt-in e-resources.

Prodedures for Model 3 Opt-in e-Resources Scenario Scenario #3: When there is one vendor with one e-resource included in the subscription, the e-resource is ordered in the local instance.
Prodedures for Model 3 Opt-in e-Resources Scenario Scenario #4: When there is one vendor but there are multiple e-resources included in the subscription. This scenario would be include "upgrades" to e-collections, such as EBSCO Academic Search Complete or Business Source Complete.
