Update July 2024: Support case opened with EBSCO:Christine tested this and it is correct – you do not have to proxy your EBSCO new URLs in your A-Z list.

EBSCO support also said we should we do not have to enable proxy in Alma collections. We believe this is not correct.

Ex Libris says: Yes, check the box “proxy enabled=yes”

As long as ExL (and they have said they have no plans to update the collections) does not update the collections to the new UI URL for EBSCO, the proxy will need to be proxy=yes.  If ExL does update the URL, then proxy=no.

In Alma, do we need to set EBSCO collections to No for proxy so as not to double-proxy links? We were told that there would be no updates needed in Alma, but if the new UI links include proxy information, how does that interact with our Alma and Springshare/A-Z settings for proxy?

## Yes, you will need to set EBSCO collections to No for proxy.
