Ex Libris currently maintains two indexes for Primo & Summon. In order to support “new ways of discovery, beyond just the one result list option” and “enhance such areas by creating data relationships that enable us to release more exploration paths and smart discovery services”, Ex Libris is “creating a unified index” aka the Central Discovery Index.

During the switch, there is no downtime for your users.” Follow these steps to go live with CDI If full-text access is set up in the NZ, resources from those collections should be found within libraries Primo instance if they are sharing the collection.
