Using a script that is available on GitHub and an Excel spreadsheet template, the License Terms can be updated.

- Alma has License Templates available to help make license creation a little easier. This script can help fill in the terms under the License Terms tab. If there are multiple licenses from the same vendor, this can speed up the process of filling in those terms.
- If the license already exists but the terms are not filled in, this can also help speed up the process of filling in the terms.
- Use Excel spreadsheet to update the License Terms in the Alma License. The license must exist in Alma before the License Term script can be used.
- The spreadsheet template can also be sent to the vendor to fill out to ensure the terms are correct.
- Script for License Terms. There is a script available that can be downloaded.
- Display of License Terms in Alma and Primo. (Configuration Menu > Acquisitions > Licenses > Manage License Terms)
- After the display of the license terms is set up, license terms for NZ licenses can be viewed by clicking on the View It at the portfolio level.
- There will be a link next to the e-collection name in the View It window to "Show License."
