This will allow libraries to compare e-collections that are active in NZ to e-collections either in the CZ or the IZ. TStep-by-step guide
- Temporarily activate an e-collection that is normally active in the NZ.
- From Locate the e-collection in the CZ , activate the e-collectionand activate it. It will appear active in the IZ.
- After it is activated in the IZ, then a comparison can be run against another resource e-collection in the CZ or an e-collection in the IZ.
- After the e-collection has been activated in the IZ go to Resources > Advanced Tools > Overlap and Collection Analysis
- Follow procedures for Overlap Analysis for a Set
- Locate the temporarily activate IZ e-collection (Source Electronic Collection) and then compare it to another IZ e-collection or a CZ e-collection (Target Electronic Collection)
- Once the Analysis is over and the necessary reports are complete, the e-collection can be removed from the IZ.
